I’m very pleased you have visited our page and would be truly delighted if you would join our training sessions.

When starting this studio, I was driven by a passion for the power of movement, as well as a desire to create a place where one could feel comfortable, motivated and supported on their way towards health and fitness.

We specialize in Pilates on original apparatus, according to the authentic method of Joseph Pilates. In addition, we also offer conditioning and functional forms of training, DNS training, massages and body recovery treatments.

PowerHouse was designed as a fitness studio where your progress, relaxation and personal balance are a top priority.

I’m a firm believer in individual approach and privacy. Therefore, my team and I will happily guide you through individual training sessions or small groups of up to three people.

THE PROCESS

1. QUESTIONNAIRE

Upon your arrival, it is very important for us to get to know you well.
To give us a hand with this, you will fill out our questionnaire.
The purpose of the questionnaire is to asses your physical condition, identify any weaknesses or difficulties you might have and determine your personal goals and challenges. This is very important for us in order to figure out whether there is a need for a therapeutic approach to your training sessions and so on.
After completing the questionnaire, we perform a short consultation so as to devise your workout regiment.
For new members, we recommend the INTRODUCTORY PACKAGE (5 corrective training sessions, 5 Pilates training sessions and an InBody analysis).

2. INBODY ANALYSIS

The InBody 770 analyzer helps us obtain the following:
• Muscle mass and subcutaneous fat distribution by body segments
• Analysis of intracellular and extracellular water levels by segments
• Information on visceral fat (deep fat around organs)
• Protein and mineral ratios
• BMI (Body Mass Index)
• BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
• BMC (Bone Mineral Content)
• AC (Arm Circumference)
• AMC (Arm Muscle Circumference)
• Nutritional evaluation
• Recommendations for weight, fat and muscle adjustments

3. CORRECTIVE TRAINING

We assess and correct breathing patterns, core stabilization and joint movement quality.
After that, we reeducate members with regards to breathing patterns and stabilization during functional movements (those we perform on a daily basis).
Needless to say, we focus on your personal issues, such as back, neck and knee pain, in order to prevent discomfort and possible injuries both during training sessions and daily activities.

4. TRAINING

You choose whether you want Pilates, functional training or a combination of both.
Pilates: 5 introductory training sessions during which you familiarize yourself with the equipment and basic exercises.
Functional training: 5 introductory training sessions in a state-of-the-art gym, with a focus on fundamental functional movement patterns.
Pilates/functional training combination: A total of 10 training sessions.

5. INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP TRAINING

Based on your preference, you can choose to train individually, in a pair or in a group of three members.

We periodically asses clients’ progress in order to ensure maximum training effectiveness.

7. ADDITIONAL SERVICES/TREATMENTS

Massage: Various types available.

Winback Treatment: The Winback device emits high-frequency capacitive and resistive energy, also known as TECAR therapy.
The treatment facilitates natural physiological processes in muscle and connective tissues, enhances the body’s natural ability to regenerate, alleviates pain and inflammation and accelerates healing.
Various physiotherapy treatments.
